Raised on the East Coast, Shukri was stimulated by traditional values that hold true both in life and architecture. His work also draws from ventures in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East where rich history, diverse cultures and styles form a broad sense of inspiration, materials and art. This translates into unique, spectacular and livable designs.
Shukri’s approach is one of collaboration. He believes in working closely with each client while creating designs that address the client’s individual needs and desires.
Shukri specializes in custom flooring Design as well as global sourcing. Some notable projects include William Beaver House in NYC, a 400-unit luxury residential, Susquehanna University, Partials at NYU, and Trump Soho in Manhattan.
Shukri Rahman is now primarily focused on strategic development, global sourcing, turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions. He guides businesses through asset utilization, strategic realignments and divestitures, working with companies to strengthen their strategic teams and key personnel. As CEO, Shukri led both FloorMax Inc and FloorMax USA LLC through ambitious expansions and successful growth periods.
